HYPNOBIRTHING WITH LISA TOTH

For a natural, calm and gentle birth

You are at the start of an incredible, life-changing journey and Hypnobirthing can help you achieve a positive and calm birth experience and the best possible start into parenthood.

Hypnobirthing is a completely logical, incredibly effective and established antenatal method that enables you to let go of any fears or worries and leaves you feeling excited and confident about the birth of your baby.

We work with the belief that pain is not necessary, and that a woman's body is perfectly designed to give birth to her baby in a calm and gentle way. We teach you how to work with your body – not against it – with many women not needing any pain relief at all, not even gas and air.

The programme is soundly based upon established anatomy, physiology and psychology.
Hypnobirthing techniques are very easy to learn and use during pregnancy, labour and birth. In fact, they are life skills that will benefit you beyond birth and into parenthood, too.

Some people believe that Hypnobirthing is only helpful if you are planning for a natural vaginal birth. In fact, Hypnobirthing will give you, both of you, complete confidence and enable you to feel in control whichever way baby decides to be born.

The course is taught in a group setting or as tailored 1 to1 sessions on request. You will receive the Hypnobirthing book and Relaxation CD to support your practice at home.

You can attend the course any time after your 20 week scan, leaving you plenty of time to practice the techniques at home together. However, if you have only just discovered Hypnobirthing and your baby is due soon, you will still greatly benefit from attending the course as you both will feel informed, relaxed, positive and very confident.

  • With Hypnobirthing you are likely to experience a calmer and more comfortable birth.
  • You may find you don't need any pain relief at all.
  • It often shortens the length of labour.
  • You will be more 'in the moment', feel alert and in control.
  • It lessens the physical impact of childbirth and reduces the risk of post-natal depression.
  • The father / birth partner is actively involved.
  • It allows your baby to enter the world drug free and in an atmosphere of calm and gentleness.
  • A gentler birth for mother & baby often means easier bonding-on and a quicker recovery from birth.
  • Increase in baby's apgar scores (health of baby after birth)
  • Babies are shown to cry less, sleep and feed better and are generally calmer
